Welcome to Mold Inspection Pro

Mold Inspection Pro offers three different proven methods to test your property for mold.  Two of these tests are called “do it yourself (DIY) mold testing kits” that allow you to conduct surface sampling of the subject property.

The other option is a professional test that involves having a certified mold inspector come out to your property in order to conduct a full mold inspection that includes a visual inspection, and mold culture testing via air sampling and or surface sampling. If you need a professional mold inspector to come to your property, please call us at 1-855-786-MOLD (6653) for a free, no obligation quote.

All testing results are provided by a certified indoor air quality (IAQ) testing laboratory.

We also offer professional consultations that will help you to adequately assess the threat of toxic mold indoors to your health in order to keep your family or workplace safe. Our consultations are great for people who have obtained mold tests by other companies so that we can either assist you in determining the results and or help you with professional advice on what you should do next in regards to proper remediation of the property, your personal belongings, and your health.

Here is a quick explanation below of the services Mold Inspection Pro offers.

DIY Mold Test Kits

The DIY mold tests are performed by you doing either a “tape sampling method” or “culture swab method.”

A culture swab test is best for when you have visible mold growth that you want to test in order to determine the kind mold present, or;the area is hard to reach, or the surface is very wet and a tape sample will not adhere to the area of concern. A tape test is often best performed when no mold is visible or if you are not directly testing an active colony of mold.

A tape test is often best performed when no mold is visible or if you are not directly testing an active colony of mold such as dust on a window sill or elsewhere like the corners of the rooms in the home. Dust samples may also tell you the history of what mold may be airborne.

Surface sampling using either the tape or swab method can provide you with enough information to confirm that the sampled mold growth may be producing mold spores in the air. These types of DIY tests are not destructive to building materials and or surfaces when performed properly. Both tests are very easy to perform and are effective ways to determine if your property has a mold problem and also the relative degree of contamination.

With our home mold test kits, you can take as few as one sample of your property or as many as you deem necessary. Our recommendation is that you take at least two samples or the best option would be that you take a sample in each room or area where there is visible, apparent mold.

Professional Mold Inspection

All Mold Inspection Pro certified mold inspectors are thoroughly screened for proper certifications, licensing, insurance and customer satisfaction. We guarantee that they are the best in the business and have great track record in performing inspections.

Our professional inspections are performed by a certified inspector who will come to your property in order to test for mold. The inspector will do a complete visual examination of the property in order to check for water damage, moisture intrusion, musty odors, visible signs of mold, indications of hidden mold growth and for conditions conducive to mold growth.

The inspector will also normally take anywhere from two to three samples in which one control sample will be taken outside. They will then be sent to a certified indoor air quality (IAQ) testing laboratory for analysis. You can add extra samples for a fee.
